| From early childhood Imran Hussain has been fascinated by all things culinary. Naturally, he learnt all the essentials of good Indian cooking at home, and went on to become a chef at the tender age of just eleven: Such is the passion with which he creates the fine Indian dishes on the menu at Villa Spice in Berwick-upon-Tweed.

Situated right in the heart of this historic Border market town, Villa Spice attracts people from as far away as Edinburgh and Newcastle with its heady mix of conviviality and delicious dishes.

The interior of the restaurant has just undergone a refurbishment, so now the surroundings are as gorgeous as the food served!

Starters include, King Prawn Bhaji, Sheek Kebab, Chapati Roll, Dhai Baigon, Chingril Mosali, Varkee, Sabzi Verkee, Onion Bhaji, Lamb or Chicken Tikka, Papadoms and an assortment of pickles.

Main dishes include Hussain's Choice with Gobi Gosht, Aloo Gosht, and Special Bhuna Gosht; the chefs recommendations such as Murgh-E-Khazana, and Luari Mangsho, plus there are also Seafood, Biriyani, Tandoori, Mild, Medium, Hot, and Vegetarian dishes to choose from. All complimented with a superb selection of Sabzi-Vegetable Side Dishes, Sundries of Roties, and Rice Dishes.
