Venture to the gorgeous fishing village of Craster on the Northumberland Heritage Coast, and you will find The Cottage Inn. With ten delightful en-suite guest rooms, plus a restaurant and bar, all set in six acres of private grounds, The Cottage Inn is a fantastic base to discover Northumberland from.
From mouth-watering lunches, and dinners to small intimate weddings and celebrations the restaurant and bar are a great combination. The lovely surroundings make you feel relaxed and the superb food is a real treat!
All the dishes on the menu are made from good fresh local produce, and taste absolutely delicious. Sunday lunch is always exceedingly good and draws fans back, time and time again. The roasted meats are all locally farmed, and the vegetables are delish.
Naturally vegetarians are catered for with a great variety of dishes. The chefs can also cater for a variety of food allergies, and can even make gluten free fish and chips!
Craster is notably famous for its kippers, and what better place to try them than The Cottage Inn, where they couldn't be fresher. Seafood is a local speciality, and The Cottage Inn serves some amazing locally caught lobsters when available too!
Wash down the delicious menu with some real ale from local micro breweries such as Mordue, Derwent, and Wylam: The Cottage Inn is mentioned in The Good Beer Guide.
Stay at The Cottage Inn for the amazing food or the fantastic surroundings, and you will have the choice of ten lovely rooms, all with en-suite facilities including a bath with a shower, a flat screen TV with both digital and Sky channels, pocket sprung beds, a selection of complimentary hot beverages, and disabled access. They are all centrally heated and well appointed for your comfort.
