The Beer Garden is the perfect spot to enjoy a cool refreshing drink, relax, and enjoy the scenery from. In the evening the cosy bar is ideal for a light libation, before taking your seat in the restaurant.

The restaurant has a fine selection of Northumbrian country cuisine, made with good fresh local seasonal ingredients. There is a plentiful choice of vegetarian dishes, and a very good children's menu. Sunday roasts are absolutely mouth-watering, and include home made Yorkshire puddings, and real home made gravy!

Good wholesome old-fashioned favourites are abundant on The Anchors menu, and you can round off your delicious meal with a ginger or stick toffee pudding that are very highly recommended.
